"What we call S/Z is a fool's game out of nothing that involves all the higher questions."

In 2017, the Zurich band Saalschutz emancipated from itself and left the post-2000 rave-punk sound, they helped to invent behind. Saalschutz played 400+ concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands and Serbia. 
After a sold-out farewell tour, the band reinvents themselves: The elegant musical Phoenix S/Z rises from the ashes of the sophisticated dinosaur. 

S/Z - that means house music and techno with depth, tension and sampled material that makes every digger's heart beat faster.  The duo exclusively uses hardware machinery like an analogue drum machine, various synthesizers and samplers. Complemented with effects and a few hippie instruments. S/Z played selected shows in the GDS.FM radio station, at the Off The Radar Festival near Hamburg and the infamous Lethargy Festival in Zürich.
