Pushing through the trees
Fighting off the bees
The hills get higher
I've lost my desire

But pushing through "you can't"
Sends me into a rant!
And, telling me I'm old
Insults my soul!

I’m not Sisyphus,  
Yet I still climb—  
Defying the chorus  
That says “no time.”  

Anyhow, I push through,  
What else can I do?
There’s a force I can’t ignore—  
LIVING…
to see the light in a child’s eyes
to smell the petals of a rose
to hear the music calling

And falling, still falling
Not into despair
But into the arms of
Love everywhere.
