Soundcloud is a great platform for artists who want to do it a little bit different, I use any instrument that I can bang a sound out of or get my hands on but mainly guitar&synth.
Then throw it into the melting pot of  DAW and press record and just see what happens whatever the outcome!   I also like both types of music Rock and Roll !!  Enjoy..
