The listener's experience is kicked off with a jump-up influenced arrangement, titled "Under The Veil". This opener creates tension using melodic arp variations, sinister vocals, and unsettling pads, eventually unveiling the heavier side to Archaea's production and highlighting the integration of his techy style into simplistic rhythmic patterns usually seen in jump-up Drum & Bass. The song finishes with a signature vocal chop motif, which releases the tension and invites the listener to continue their journey through the EP.
