elegy

Vrihi, from Sanskrit "rice," is a sonic exploration on the value of vocality as a bearer of stories.
Multiple voices and granular textures are continuously fragmented, reassembled and juxtaposed into new forms.
Each track resonates with the repetitive, rhythmic motions of manual labor, capturing the tireless
gestures of workers lost to time. 
A unique and rich sound-world recalled by archival recordings and dense sound masses that barely reveal a trace of a body or identity.

Amber Sparks drifts through fog and fading light, a slow-motion collapse of stars into silence.
Low frequencies breathe beneath suspended harmonics, each one dissolving into the next.
A study in texture, decay, and stillness.

At the edge of the atmosphere, sound becomes light.
Amber fragments drift through the dark, pulsing softly,
each one a memory, burning out in slow motion.

There are no stars here, only the echo of their warmth.
A faint hum stretches across the void,
gathering dust, shadow, and distance into one continuous breath.

Somewhere beneath the static, something is still alive,
not moving, only glowing.
And then even that begins to fade.

It feels like a day inside my head,
where things don’t make sense and are real yet not true.
A slow drift through the upside down,
where silence hums and light moves backwards.
The world folds in on itself until only sound remains.

Listen.
Don’t search for movement; it’s already slowing to light.

This is dark ambient for long shadows. Meditative, cinematic, and dissolving.
Stillness illuminated by decay.
