newa's new wonderful track hedgehog inspires us deeply - the result: some outstanding remixes. Each remixer kept the beautiful mood alive that newa created in her original version while giving it its own particular touch. a really groovy, subtle and hypnotic tune from esko, a huge version that feels like absolute freedom from martin nonstatic, and a deep ambient and visionary remix by frank sebastian. Some introductory words from newa: 

subspiele: Looking at your latest release on subspiele, one must admit that you always find very special names for your tracks! How did you come up with the name "hedgehog" ? 
newa: i call my tracks what it feels like... when i was a kid i loved that old russian cartoon "hedgehog in the fog", when i've finished the track i found that i had similar emotions which i had during watching this cartoon in the childhood, so i wanted to call it hedgehog. 

subspiele: how did you record these wonderful sounds? did you use specific synths or anything else? 
newa: i recorded some live loops, i didn't use specific synths i just listened what sound fit together in my mind. 

subspiele: what is your next project? 
newa: i'll wait for the inspiration. i don't plan. 

subspiele: how do you feel now? 
newa: i feel very nice to be a part of subspiele family and really honored that amazing artists have made great remixes of hedgehog. just looking forward to the release. 

subspiele: what are you dreaming of? 
newa: dreaming of having lots of sounds to experiment with and possibilities.
