As a member of The Chilluminati and previously Spacecamp Psyfari, Ascension has been an integral part of the Midwest psytrance scene since 2008. Taking influences from jazz and classical music, you can expect a unique journey through an expanse of sounds during an Ascension set.

The alter-persona of Ascension, Telomere has a great appreciation for liquid drum and bass. Weaving together melodic elements to create a unique experience for the listener, Telomere sets become greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm an electric Bass guitar player for the band Bizarre Bazaar.  Our Causes and Controls album is also on soundcloud.  My music influences are mostly 70's style rock with bands like Led Zepplin, Rush, JethroTull, Deep Purple etc.  

I started listening to Goa Trance when introduced to the outdoor parties in about 1997, and was totally hooked when going to a gig where Tsuyoshi Suzuki was playing.  The imagination of all these trance artists are truly amazing to create such brilliant music that can take you on a trip through your soul... And no drugs necessary!!! ;-)  Currently I'm looking at creating basslines for any Goa/Psy trance artists interested in using them to create magic!!
