This February Project started as a means of getting me to record anything, just to get my mind back into the music. The songs were all selected the day that I recorded them, usually all in one take, save for my cover of "Make You Feel My Love", which features both piano and guitar. I sought to make something simple and raw, with many of the songs touching on the anxieties and doubts that I've had. The Project is now done, and I can say that I've accomplished what I intended: I am reinvigorated to create, my anxieties and doubts have been voiced the best way I know how, and with those worries out of my mind, I'm happier than I was at the start. I hope you enjoy this collection of songs that speak to me, and that you will listen to what lies ahead with an open ear and an open heart.

Day Four of my February project has me singing "This Light", originally written and performed by Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room. Definitely has been one of my favorite sad songs to sing.

Day Five of my February project, and I am performing a cover of "Baby I Love Your Way", by the one and only Peter Frampton. Such a beautiful song with wonderfully written verses; paints a wonderful image for the mind.

Day Six of my February project, and I find myself breaking my rules a bit. Today I'm recording a song that is long overdue (8 years to be exact); an old song of my own called "All I Take, All I Give". It's not a cover, and it's not on guitar, but like many times in my life, creations of the past seem to overshadow something new. So I hope you enjoy this song, it came from my heart and my hopes, and those are the best things about me.

Day Seven of my February project, and I'm singing Bob Dylan's "The Man In Me". Fairly simple song, but with a good amount of heart in the lyrics; I've loved it ever since my sweet, innocent childhood was forever changed by The Big Lebowski.

Day Eight of my February project, and here I am covering "Lovesong" by The Cure. While it certainly isn't the greatest of titles, the words speak a simple truth for a lover who sees the simple joy of being loved, and that is something quite wonderful.

Day Nine of my February project, and I've once again pulled out the ukulele to sing a song very dear to my heart. When I first heard Hellogoodbye's "Oh, It Is Love", I was stricken by the vulnerability of it all, from the vocals, to the very lyrics that they were singing. When I was 16, it changed the scope of my writing, and let me explore what could come from writing from a place of tenderness rather than pain. It never fails to make me smile, and I hope I've done some justice to a song that I love so much. Enjoy :)

Day Eleven of my February project has got me feeling a bit worn. I'm singing Brandi Carlile's "The Story" tonight, and my voice is tired, I'm tired, and this song even in its original form has that sorta feel to it. Day Twelve is finally here after two days of work derailing the February Project. Today, I'm singing "Love Like You" by Rebecca Sugar. For those of you unfamiliar with her, she's an amazing cartoonist and singer songwriter responsible for the creation of my favorite cartoon, Steven Universe. This song played over the ending credits for the first couple of seasons, and it's a wonderful song to share with all of you.

Day Thirteen of my February Project is here, and tonight, I've covered one of my all time favorite artist. I present to you Jackson Browne's "These Days", a song of distinct melancholy and memory, but still a beautiful tune, penned by Browne back when he was just a teenager in my hometown of Fullerton. This song speaks volumes of a weary life, yet was written by a 16 year old kid. Isn't that just amazing? Anyways, as usual, I hope you enjoy!

These Days (Jackson Browne Cover)

Day Fourteen of my February Project is has finally come, and I am glad to see this project come to a close. Tonight, I'm covering a song called "Dead Man", by my friends, The Zmed Brothers, perhaps better known locally as The Janks. I chose to end on this song because when I first stumbled into the OC music scene, I was enthralled with blues rock bands, a brief stint of hardcore, and a whole lot of lyrics that didn't sink deep. But when I had the pleasure of hearing this song for the first time, I was struck by lyrics that spoke of love as a disease, and while I'm sure this song is about loving someone that's bad for you, I sing it for a love whose loss seemingly hurts more than death itself. My rendition is in no way perfect, but I hope it resonates in you as deeply as the original did in me. Thank you for listening throughout this endeavor of mine, and I hope you've enjoyed the ride.

Welcome to my little page! I mess around with all sorts of music, usually bouncing between downtempo electronic, something akin to drum and bass, and(for the most part) acoustic; I honestly don't know what the hell I'm doing most of the time.
