Groove Daniel is a DJ & live act originally from Italy, but now based in Berlin, owner of Lounge Squatt & member of Berlin Invasion collective. Once again, he supplied to us a brilliant mix, full of tension from start to finish! We are over the moon to finally guest our old friend and legend Chris Liberator on our podcast series. Chris needs little introduction really. At part from being one of the most skilled vinyl DJs around and excellent producer with tons of great releases on cult labels, included our sister label Polymeric, he is also a great multi-instrumentalist, having played in several punk bands in his heydays, and still doing so today! At part from this, he is one of the best persons in the scene, with his anti-establishment attitude, and down to earth friendly approach. Chris started djing back in 1991 playing his first ever party in a squat in North London (organised with the fledgling Liberator crew featuring himself, Julian and Aaron). Liberator soon made a name for themselves putting on parties in and around North East London in squats and underground venues, and it wasn’t long before they began hooking up with other crews doing similar stuff including Bedlam, Full On, Zero Gravity and Megadog who they all played regularly for with their firebrand mix of Acid, hard Techno and Rave. Getting involved with the illegal raves kicking off in the UK at the time (including Lechlade and Castle Morton) via their numerous traveller connections saw them hook up with crews out in Europe from Prague and Holland and they began travelling internationally as well. In 1993 they began their label Stay Up Forever to represent their own unique style, and as it progressed and they met more producers like DDR, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Gizelle, Geezer and Lawrie Immersion, the sound of London Techno and Acid Techno as we know it was born.

Chris went on to start the SUF Collective (which he runs with Aaron Liberator) and began DJing across the world including places as far flung as Brazil, Venezuela, Japan, South Africa and Australia, and his name quickly became synonymous with the sound of the London Techno he represented. Meanwhile he continued to support his roots playing thousands of squat parties and underground raves in London, UK and Europe, keeping it firmly ‘real’ despite making DJ mag’s top 100 dj list on several occasions and producing some of the era’s most popular Acd Techno mix cds.

DoctA Hipnoto is a Polish, Dj/Producer/Live performer/electronic music collector. His adventure with black discs started in 2008 in Spain, where he lived. He fell in love with music, he started with break-beats, but quickly fell in love with Techno. Apart from DJ-ing another interest in music came to His attention: music production and live acts on synths, effects, tape, samplers and controllers… All this to be able to even better describe the world without words and this is still the case today!

Hard Bart is originally from Poland from where he moved over to UK (London) in 1998. That’s where his passion for turntables and techno music kicked in properly. So he got on the decks, and in almost no time at all he was rocking some serious London sound systems such as : Manik , Malfaiteurs , Fu.Q , Solid, to name just a few and he was also one of the few DJs who originally started the now legendary Every1Sound.

His name started to appear next to those big names in London’s underground Techno scene (without naming as everyone knows who they are) and he could be frequently seen in some of the best clubs too, including Mass, The Fridge, George IV, 414, Purple Turtle, Dukes (even once at Heaven in Leicester Square!)

Around 2007 he went to live in Spain for few years, and he was a regular DJ at Astral TECH parties, and in clubs and technivals in Granada, Sevilla, Malaga, and Almeria.

Recently he got involved in music production too and he has released a couple of tracks on labels Generator UK (digital) and Polymeric Records (12” vinyl),
Undelivered Records (digital)and he's got many more projects on the way, to be released in the near future both on vinyl and digital. So watch out because this talented DJ is technically very skilled, and it turns out to be quite a banging producer too!

Now in its second decade, with a steady stream of the most forward thinking and cutting edge techno productions, Drumcode has one of the biggest selections of releases from industry heavy hitters, whilst not forgetting its future by bringing the newest talented producers into the limelight, where Layton Giordani is now a name firmly within that line up.

The New York born, but now EU based producer first had recognition back in 2014, and his debut release came via Drumcode with his track “Rivington” on the A-Sides Vol5 compilation in 2016.

Full force into 2017, Drumcode has announced the release of Layton’s debut album with “Where It Begins” this February. Consisting of 12 original tracks, the album packs a punch when it comes to no-nonsense techno. Successfully weaving relentless drums and catchy vocal hooks into a selection of thick, brooding, atmospheric tracks.

Teasing us with a sample, Drumcode has released “Good Violence” – thumping from the get-go in true Drumcode fashion, this track is a pure dance floor destroyer. Laced in some heavy low end power, slapping percussion and a hypnotic synth pad to build up that late night tension just right.

Bereits seit fast zwanzig Jahren produziert Normen Flaskamp selbst Musik. Im Jahr 2006 starte er unter dem Alias Solee als DJ und Produzent und seit nun gut vier Jahren performt er zudem auch als Liveact. Mit der Gründung seines Labels Parquet Recordings wurde ihm das Glück zu Teil, eine eigenen Spielwiese für seine Musik und seinen enormen Output zu besitzen. Schon sein erstes Release wurde ein Hit und schaffte auf Anhieb den Sprung in die Beatport-Charts. Inzwischen hat Parquet weit über 150 Releases veröffentlicht und gibt dabei auch Newcomern immer wieder die Chance sich zu präsentieren. 

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Solee die neuste Ausgabe der Jeden Tag ein Set-Podcastreihe zusammengestellt hat. Als kleinen Bonus sind im Set auch zwei bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks versteckt. Viel Spaß mit einer Stunde melodischem Techno von dem Mann aus Stuttgart!

Synthek is a Berlin based Dj and producer, an owner of Natch Records and STK imprint. Always seeking for new influences, over the past years the style of his sets and productions faced constant evolution, focusing on deep rhythmics and powerful and introspective vibes.
Following few successful EP's on Natch Records, he released the debut album 'Unwise', in collaboration with the label partner AudioLouis. Unwise, seen as their last co-produced effort, got consecutively remixed by Polar Inertia, Antigone and Varg among others. Synthek started curating the booking of New Faces Wednesdays at Tresor Berlin since 2014, becoming a respected presence behind the decks of the legendary venue, especially for closing sets. The idea of creating STK, a self titled imprint - home of his own productions only, gives him the freedom to experiment and take new approaches to music production which significantly reshapes his signature sound. The initial wave of 3 EP's 'VERSE', launched in July 2015, brought him to look slightly away from the dancefloor, and finally orienting towards mind-twisting and psychedelic compositions. Beside STK, since his last appearance on Attic Music, for D.A.N.C.E 2, he released new material, like MRI EP on the Russian label Wunderblock, a remix alongside Svreca on Spanish Redpoint Alert, and a contribute for a compilation on OVUNQVE.
Synthek has recently been working on a new full-length project that will see the light early 2017.

Daniel Reinhold, is a German DJ with over 20 years of experience, a producer, and a vinyl label owner, also known as Subject One when he dons his producer and live hat. He runs one of the most acclaimed German vinyl label of recent years, Suspected Music, where some pretty big and respected names in Techno have so far released their work. He worked as a vinyl distributor for the past 15 years, and finally, in 2015, he decided to create his own vinyl label Suspected, to be able to push forward his taste and vision of Techno to the World. He also runs a vinyl pressing service.

Born in Italy, the dark and hard techno sound panorama rides.
Since its debut in 2016 on Labrynth and FLASH Recordings, counts many more on Abstract Mechanisms, Illegal Alien Black Label, Mephyst, Konstructiv, True Type and its basic Sisma label. Monolyth has played in many Italian clubs and especially in his most successful city with artists like Ben Sims, Flug, Slam, MTD, Luis Flores, Electrorites, Florian Meindl and many others.

Monolyth is an integral part of the We Dance Naples promoters group. Being constantly experimenting with analog sequencers, synthesizers and sound design, its purpose is to convey its love for music to other people and will definitely do so without any compromise.
