Isca Nublar (real name Nick) is a techno DJ and producer from Devon in the UK. His obsession with all forms of dance music began in 1993 and, having spent all his money on decks and vinyl, started mixing in 1996. Shortly after that he fell in love with acid techno (the type coming from the London underground scene) and quickly earned a reputation for playing no-holds-barred techno sets wherever and whenever he saw an opportunity…

Then, after an enforced break of 12 years, he rediscovered his love of mixing in 2015 and he hasn’t looked back since. He loves exploring the full spectrum of techno, blending the old with the new…basically, any dark, hard and percussive techno (which he has started calling ‘darkgroove’) or anything vaguely acidic is likely to be right up his street…!!

In 2021, Isca Nublar released his first techno EP, and in December 2021, he launched his own label, TECNO OSCURO, with TO-006 and TO-007 scheduled for release over the coming months. His tracks have now featured on Corrupt Systems, Pulsewave Records, T Sessions, Statics and there’s plenty more in the pipeline…watch this space.

For his second show on the Techno Helpline (Techno Connection - 26/09), Isca Nublar took things in a harder, darker direction. This set starts with some pure techno quality from @Oris and @Jacidorex and then just builds and builds, getting darker and harder as it develops. About half way through it changes gear and the second half is a beast...!!
