For this occasion he offers a session reviewing several of his favorite albums, with a lot of influence on the dance and sweat of a dark and small club ... giving way to music more focused on EBM or Industrial, to faster percussions within the modern techno scene. Mattia Prete has been at the heart of Techno Jazz a new musical movement where the freeform improvisation and instrumentation of jazz meets the futuristic and hypnotic mechanics of techno. Prete has been working in this niche as a DJ, live performer, and producer, but also as manager of Jazz-o-Tech, the innovative and well-known label based in Berlin and Milan that is home to many upcoming visionary talents.

Prete now lays out his unique vision of Techno Jazz on a first EP under his own name for Jazz-o-Tech itself. Three of the forward-thinking tracks are collaborations with musicians Prete admires and respects, and one is a remix from Reeko the Spanish techno producer.

After releasing Silent Rain EP as part of the Beat Movement duo, Prete now fully steps out with a bold representation of his take on the fascinating techno-jazz sound. It is cinematic and expansive, heady yet physical, and builds bridges between the famous Berlin sound and the exciting new developments happening in his native Italian scene.

'Moon, Please Don't Go Away' with composer and multi-instrumentalist Alberto Fiori pairs heavy, spacious bass hits with a rousing lead synth. It is epic, suggestive, and a real call to arms before the pummeling kick drums charge into cosmic battle. 'The Bright Side' with the great French trans-jazz band Bada-Bada slowly but surely gets you in a trance. The drums are powerful and liner, but the jazz sax up top is loose and liquid. It unfolds with increasing tension before the energy dissipates and you've left adrift in space next and the sax returns as a more friendly presence. Mattia then links with jazz pianist Uri Gincel and producer and guitar player Daniel Calvi for 'Burning Man,' which was previously a part of the This is Techno Jazz Vol. 1 compilation and is a deep, dark, and brooding track full of eerie suspense.

Daniel Calvi is also the collaborator on 'Stein'. It is a track dense with ideas - the train-track drums, the tortured keys, the waves of synth, then a stunning acoustic guitar solo that brings beauty and hope. Last of all, dark industrial techno maestro Reeko remixes 'Stein' into a thumping and cavernous groove with twisted synths that drag you into a dystopian future.

This is a landmark EP from an artist who is helping to take techno into innovative new realms.

Pino Lopez started with electronic music in the late 90s and today he still plays with CDs and vinyls: almost half of the songs he play are composed by himself. In 2005, together with J-Ka, M.J.V. and Dr. Exposito he created the Rave Sound system called AstralTech, and he was almost pioneers in organizing hard techno, hard dance and drum and bass free parties on the Costa del Sol, Andalusia.
The AstralTech record label continues releasing tracks on many platforms such as: SPOTIFY, ITUNES, AMAZON, BEATPORT, Juno Records, Apple Music... AstralTech's other digital labels are AstralNRG & AstralKickz, check them out because you will like our stuff and you know it.

Regarding electronic music, Pino Lopez managed to release several vinyls and more than 150 tracks in digital format in various labels all over Europe: Carbon Audio (Austria), Generator U.K., Central Music LTD (France), Heat Treatment (Sevilla), Overweight Recordings (Hungary), Sketcha Traxx (U.K.), Painkiller (Valencia), Acid Corp. Bristol's Kelvin Belton who is based in Stuttgart is no stranger to the underground music scene.

His residencies with some of South Germanys most successful nights. Behind the decks, is the combination between Techno with the focus on heavy bass lines and experimental soundscapes offer something for the dedicated move sound lovers this technical proficiency is ever more evident in the studio, with his use of complex percussion and raw melodic sounds stamping the trademark on his productions.

The studio live experience is the only real way to get a vision on just how much music Kelvin Belton makes.

Even a space as short time can be a completely new collection of tracks, loops, skits and grooves, mercilessly wielded and propelled at the crowd to inspire people never knew they had inside themselves.
Far from the dry, uninspiring automation of so many tracks and live sets shudder and shake with the vitality of human control, no more apparent than in his razor-sharp drum pads. With the surface barely scratched on what Kelvin Belton ever active mind can conjure up, from the absurd and grotesque to the elegiac and beautiful, one can only advise you keep the name locked, your mind open and your ears ready to follow.
