After the unfortunate events that led to Undyne and Alphys’ divorce, Undyne retreated to the old ruins. Over time, she’d transform these ruins into a sanctuary for the various aquatic(-based) monsters. Ever since, she has only encountered one human, who may or may not have tried to murder her (albeit in self-defense). 

Encountering Oliver brings back some unfortunate memories for her. Rather than taking this out on them, however, she cautiously gives them the benefit of the doubt. While Undyne’s still got plenty of raw passion and energy at heart, she tones this down when traversing the main sanctuary halls.

The Sanctuary is the first area Oliver finds themself in. It's filled with numerous puzzles made for training one's intellectual and physical wellbeing, while the general architecture and decor hones in on mental and emotional wellbeing.

Undyne has long accepted that the best way to resolve conflict is not through violence, but rather through talking things out. To make sure Oliver knows the basics of fighting without fighting, she quickly improvises a training battle against an Echo Flower. 

Given how quickly she improvised this, however, she doesn’t realize until the training battle has already started, that this particular Echo Flower has been possessed by Rune (the Ruins Dummy ghost), who stays quiet through all of this, rather than echoing Oliver’s words the way an Echo Flower typically would.

As tensions got high between his parents, Asriel would spend the majority of his time in Undyne’s serene sanctuary. When learning that their sibling, the human his parents recently adopted, had actually given Undyne a pretty nasty injury, Asriel realized this could’ve easily happened to him as well. Since then, the two started combat training together.

Not much has changed since then, other than him and his sibling moving out and finally doing their own things in life. Asriel still frequently visits the Sanctuary, both for his weekly training with Undyne as well as just to find some space to relax. Seeing a new human in what’s supposed to be a place of peace, however, is not helping him chill out.

We'll get the elephant out of the room first. Many of you recognise this track as Fall, Lightbringers! from the cancelled take Rise And Shine by Lex. And well yeah, it is. Lex just offered to give me this theme for my take since they don't have any use for it, so i'm very grateful to them for doing that. Now the main stuff. This guy is Count Duke, the Grand Bishop's shady, although effective, advisor. The Duke also takes up the role of judge in this dark world, doing all he deems necessary to keep his form of peace and balance in these ancient holy lands. Percher and Duncan work for him as enforcers when he needs to be a little more persuasive with the people in his court.

Project 14

T-SPIN is a set of Undertale AUs made by Toadie, based on Storyspin and its further-spun brethren, which probably have better names than "Spinspin" and "Triplespin" but none that I can particularly specifically remember.

Each of the three AUs have their own rolelists which can be found in their respective playlists.
