Hi, this is AshVA. Here's the new Soundcloud for the AU originally known as "Undertale: Quantum Leap", we're finally back, and starting from scratch! We currently have a total of 14 tracks ready to be shown, along with concept art and story! We'll reveal the full Ruins and Genocide Ruins story once we finish uploading the entirety of the Ruins OST. Each track will have bits of story included within the Description! Normally I would actually put in a paragraph about what the OUAT sequences entail, but I actually... haven't yet decided on them. The titles and even the songs themselves can drastically change by the time I figure out what to do with these, but I still felt it was important to try and make them as a suitable introduction to the AUs.

Also note that updates to this project -- barring this week -- will be very, very inconsistent. I will do my best to have some kind of update on it every now and again, but I can't make specific promises about when new tracks will be coming out.

Chara used to live with the royal family. But one day, when tragedy struck thanks to another human, Asgore waged war against humanity. Chara would be considered one of their own, but something didn't quite sit right with Chara. Uncomfortable, and worried they would one day be mistakenly attacked, they left for the royal family's old home in the Ruins. Nowadays, they spend their time looking after the fallen children in the hopes that they can keep them safe.

Frisk is one of the humans who ended up falling down since war was waged on humanity. Being roughly the same age as Chara, they help Chara look after the kids. Frisk also helps out in giving Oliver a tutorial on how FIGHTs work.

Sans is a wise hermit living in Waterfall. The ancient legends speak of a chosen warrior who will embody the forces of all that is good. Sans seems to have special knowledge of this prophecy, and has been chosen as the Judge who will put all aspiring warriors to the test. For days on end he waits atop his mountain, telling challengers that they aren't worthy. Will Oliver be the one to change that?

Asriel's position in the human-monster war is an interesting one. While Asgore waged war upon humanity, the responsibility for finishing what he's started now rests on his child, the new king of the Underground. He's conflicted; after all, his best friend is a human. Even though Asgore made sure that Chara was excluded from their war on humans, something about this whole mess didn't sit right with him.

The possible monologues during the game over sequence would likely stem from things Asriel has said to Chara in the past, from things like apologies, to him genuinely wishing Chara good night, just to name the examples I can think of.

As Kris expresses to Asgore a desire to leave, a desire to further their journey back home, Asgore feels he hasn't done a thorough enough job of preparing them for the adversaries that may await them. While the monsters in New Home are generally rather harmless, the monsters that beyond the threshold are, in Asgore's words, stronger and more vicious. They want freedom. They want Kris. They want their SOUL.

He's convinced that pacifism won't always be an option. So Kris must prove to him that they're willing to do whatever it takes to make it out alive. Mercy is no longer an option.

The only way to progress the battle is by attacking Asgore. Showing him mercy or stalling through various acts will prove to do absolutely nothing.

With the holiday season upon us, the curmudgeonly Grinch launches his master plan...with a deadly virus, he shall cancel Christmas, banishing all the holiday icons to a faraway land where they can't bring cheer to all the good children in the human world. Can one little troublemaker from Illinois be the key to bringing back the Christmas spirit?

Santa Claus takes the role of Asgore. As to be expected, he rules this world from its recreation of the North Pole, where he observes all and acts as a force of joy. Of course, this comes at a catch: he knows that he must take action to free himself and his friends from this prison, otherwise he will no longer be able to bring joy to the children of the real world. It's a difficult moral situation for a guy who usually only deals in naughty and nice.

Happy holidays, everyone!! Welcome back to this year's YULE TOAD!!

Yule Toad is a 12 Days of Christmas-based event that features twelve consecutive days of uploads!! This year's Yule Toad features songs suggested (or based on suggestions) by you, the viewers! Other songs during this event are based on suggestions by the lovely artists who have helped make this possible, as well as songs I just genuinely felt like doing myself.

Today's second song was inspired by a suggestion by Bennett, which was to make Lancer for Rouxls Kaard. I also made the Vs. Lancer because I figured it'd make for a neat inclusion. Originally the intent was to just make it for Rouxls Kaard himself, but I ended up having a really silly idea that everyone ended up liking very much!

Inspired by certain takes on Deltarune roleswap AUs where the characters change based on what they're meant to represent, we've transformed Rouxls from a highly eloquent puzzlemaster (so he believes) into a nice old lady who just wishes to relive the good old days. Meet Gramma Rulz! 

In the light world, she'd be something based on a Speak and Spell device, which would be found in this AU's hometown's electronics store. Despite this, or perhaps given its age, because of this, her grasp on language is... very poor, actually, having the spelling capabilities of a 5 year old. She's lived a good long life, but she misses the days of her prime where she could just goof off and do crazy shit with her friends.

When Oliver comes across a stressed-out, exhausted Toriel who's had to deal with more than a handful of human kids swarming around, something of a dream-turned-nightmare for Toriel, it's clear she isn't thinking straight. She initiates battle as a result of a mental spiral she "speedruns", almost as if going through the five stages of grief in reverse in 5 seconds.

Oliver's task is to talk Toriel through this mental breakdown, to get her to calm down long enough and to get her grounded long enough for her to process things healthily again.
