Demo of an acoustic interlude for my black metal project.

The cover art is the white waters of the Big Thompson River in Rocky Mountain National Park. The river was flowing fast and strong. The snowpack has begun to melt as Spring begins in the mountains.

River (noun) - a large natural stream of water flowing in a channel to the sea, a lake, or another such stream.

I feel lost again.

Wind at my back,

Nauðiz, old powerful rune,
I chant your name in the night.
By the sound of the river.
Beneath the moonlight.

I'll shed these tines
Among Spring's blooms.
Leaving behind 
The weight of yesteryear,
I begin anew.

The light shown through the leaves
Illuminating my path I walked
Between the leaves I walked
Between the trees I walked

The forest swallowed me whole
As I walked beneath the night
I could hardly see the trail
The sound of my footsteps was the only thing
Starlight shown on velvet tines
I bore the Nauðiz rune
Carved into my heart

One day I'll be free of things forever

Abscission
