Bassi Maestro (Davide Bassi) started djing and producing back in the late 80's.
As Hip hop was getting bigger in Italy he started rhyming in the early
90's,being part of a whole new generation of young Italian talents.
Since then he released more than 10 official solo albums and dropped
bars and beats for some of the hottest underground and
mainstream national acts.He continued djing and producing, releasing mixtapes, remix cds, rocking both Italian Clubs and Underground Hip Hop gigs.Since 1998 he runs his own recording studio facility in Milan (Press Rewind Studios) that offers first class recording, mixing and mastering services.
He opened up and hosted shows for Cypress Hill, Questlove, MOP, CNN, De La Soul, The Roots, The Crookers, Nicki Minaj, MOP and more.
He produced international joints for the likes of MOP, Jim Jones, LLoyd Banks, Busta Rhymes, JoellOrtiz, Ag (DITC), The Beatnuts, Rakim, Coolio, Talib Kweli, Maylay Sparks,Mic Geronimo, Grand Daddy IU.
