He has been working in many different facets of the audio and music industry for over 10 years and has lots of experience working with different musicians of varying styles. He has  worked at local studios such as Guilty Dog Studios, Solstice Sound & Mix One Studio. Presently he works out of Big T Productions in Quincy Ma, a well equipped studio with a great acoustic space and a good atmosphere for being creative.

Joe Merrick has been working ceaselessly in the Boston area over the last 30 years on a steady incline building his career as a singer/songwriter. Equally at home as a soloist or band leader, Joe's original music is always a crowd pleaser. He writes about the simple things in life as well as the complex, such as the love between a parent and a child, and a young soldier going off to war.

His songwriting style has been compared to, Elton John, Billy Joel and James Taylor.

His song, "Good Feeling For A Change," was licensed by Lifetime Television, as well as three MTV network shows. He has received songwriting awards from ABET, The Great American Song Contest "Song of the year", and Billboard.

His Latest accolades consist of two well-received performances, opening up for The Steve Miller Band. He won the “Ohh, Ohh it’s Love” Subaru commercial competition where they were looking for a “fresh new sound for 2013” where his voice was heard on radio and television. He won two awards from Limelight Magazine “Male vocalist of the year” and “Song of the year” for “We’d Be Lying,” which he co-wrote with Kiley Evans. He and band members joined Carole King at an event in New Hampshire, they played a set of American-themed songs and then he performed with King herself, and finished four major commercial spots for a nationwide gym. Currently Joe’s working on five songs for a new album, titled “Priscilla

As a Berklee College Alumnus, Joe has learned to survive in the music business by learning a number of different trades. With songwriting being his main passion, he is an accomplished drummer, piano player, bass player as well as a producer. He is figuring out a way to make a living by teaching and honing his skills as a producer and engineer and has worked for many artists in the Boston area.

Joe feels “making it” in the music business is very different than it used to be.

“Since we, as musicians, are in the midst of the digital music revolution, I feel it’s all in the hands of the artist”.

He has figured out ways to bring attention to himself by using the tools of the internet by investigating and educating himself... “The skies the limit” he says.....

Smigonaut aka Josh Kipersztok is a producer and DJ who combines the power of bass-heavy electronic music with the finesse of jazz and hip-hop. He produces beats, downtempo, drum & bass, and more with a style that is refined and psychedelic yet playful and fun. From 2014 to 2020, he performed throughout the Northeast U.S. and released several EPs and singles. He caught the attention of discerning audiences and was nominated for Dance/Electronic Artist of the Year at the 2020 Boston Music Awards. After relocating to Los Angeles, Josh released his debut LP Antithesis with The Rust Music in 2022 which has seen a sold-out vinyl release and more than 800,000 digital streams to-date. He has since performed in every region of the U.S. and supported acts including Koan Sound, Jade Cicada, and Spoonbill.
