Born in London and raised on a mix of electronica and Detroit techno, Phausis doesn't put his head above ground to release music very often. With the occasional release on Earthlings compilation, acre recordings, Subgrade and the Anti- The Social Network here he presents two rare tracks of electro/acid especially brewed for Arkada records.

Second part of our EP presents the music of the Rome based most talanted electronic music producer JFrank.
Co-founder and Generalissimo at brainstormlab, and master General at Distant Future with well over 10 years of live gigs under his belt, JFrank is well known for his late night dancefloor breaks and has played everywhere from the arthouse to the doghouse – London warehouses and Berlin basements to Spanish squats and Roman ruins – with his special brand of space-age electronics. Along with a broad portfolio of releases, he currently has vinyl out on Pyramid Transmissions, Kaer'Uiks and The Irrational Media Society

Stockholm duo “Avancera”, consisting of Dorisburg and Kalawila, explores the void with their debut EP. Over five releases, Stockholm label Mountain Explosion Device had made its intentions clear—to release the absolute best in subtly morphing, psychedelic techno. Its sixth release is no different. The A-side displays rogue frequencies seeping through an ominous office building, as fully automated cleaning bots pass each other through revolving doors. “Skogenräna” adds an addictive percussion-based venture into the feral forests of their native Sweden. The remix comes courtesy of Berlin based wonderchild Mor Elian. A mind bending desert trip from one of the most exciting producers out there.

We are happy to premiere another beauty from Cai Bojsen-Møller! This time it’s from the second installment of the ‘The Spirit of Man and Machine’ EP’ which is set to be released on February 17th.

Cai Bojsen-Møller co-founded the original Multiplex imprint and released his debut solo album ‘A Bit of Something’ on the label in 1996. Out of the circuit for fifteen years, he now returns in stunning form. This time around it’s the second installment of his ‘The Spirit of Man and Machine’ EP’s which focuses on fusing organic elements with programmed electronics to create a more dynamic and live feel to the project. Bojsen-Møller opens the flip side in the shape of ‘FaxImprov’,  embracing an enchanting and melancholic feel via airy pads, acid-tinged bass and wandering arps.
