Since releasing his first ep with us last year, Marabou releases have been sporadic at best. With "IOU" he is coming back in full forces with 3 prodigious original tracks. This ep is probably one of the most sophisticated and delicate piece of music we have ever had on the label and shows how skilled Fabian is. 

The ep is clearly rooted between indie and house with some techno touches on "Broken Lines". The kind of melody-driven, atmospheric tackle that the Berlin-based producer excels at. 

Faber slows down the tempo and provides an amazing reinterpretation.

Yann Aubertot aka Monoblok is a born experimentalist with a solid classical music background and a self-taught master in the science of obscure audio manipulation. Founder and curator of Rodoid netlabel and former organizer of Paysages Électroniques festival, Monoblok has been playing around with electronic textures for the most part of his life and regularly gets involved in challenging musical projects such as the Electro Wind Band. Since 2009 he has released a number of critically acclaimed records with fellow musician PSLKTR and has been busy producing hybrid techno with rock influences and an experimental edge.
