We have the pleasure to invite you to take part in our Volume 2 in our Flashback series. This one, an idea to bring back some of our most beloved productions that gained a lot of support on original and put a new twist on it. 

This time we have another 4 tracks selected to showcase, new ideas on “older” ideas.

We are pleased to see the stunning original created by the Dutch melodic master mind Talamanca and his monster “Blue Hawaii” that originally was on our roster as our 3rd release back in the days. This time 2 creative and rising names on the scene, Kenneth Cruz & Greg Wonders teamed up to build another sweet take on this original idea. The have kept the a a good feel from Talamanca and his original idea, and pulled of a more energetic twist built through synth riffs and melodic arrangements that we feel definitely could find it’s way to your hearts. 

The 2nd rework taking place on the release is the wonderful melody monster from the Italian producer Giorgio Cusinato, more known through his Daga alias, and the wonderful “White Tulip”. With a great melodic line created, together with a small vocal hook, this was one that we always wanted to put another twist on, and we are happy to see the Russian talent Seawayz taking charge of this fine piece and pull the trigger to give it a superb energy boost. 

Next up is a re-take on our good friend from Russia, Dallonte, and his great delivery called “Let Me Stay”, this time delivered with a twist from PHW co-worker Desaicrator. With a nice melody driven re-take, he definitely builds another twist on the original idea from Dallonte, and pull of a more laid back version, still with energy enough to make your feet move across the floors. 

Last out is a welcome return to the man from India, Skyknock who definitely makes something different out of Ethillas massive original called “Imaginary”. As some of you might remember this was a release that gained support from the mighty Myon & Shane 54 back in July 2013 and we couldn’t resist to bring it back to our roster, when Skyknock caught us with this idea delivered. It’s enough said, it’s definitely one to watch!

Traful proudly introduces its thirteenth release of 2024, Distressor marking the debut of Leo Bellaera from Buenos Aires (Argentina) on our label. This dynamic EP features two original tracks by Leo alongside remixes from the T.N.C. trio (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Kalima (Argentina), both of whom are returning artists to Traful. With its blend of groovy rhythms and captivating melodies, Distressor promises to resonate deeply with Progressive House fans. The EP kicks off with Distressor, a track driven by a super groovy bassline, fun chord stabs, and infectious house vibes. The T.N.C. trios remix takes the track into more progressive territory, highlighting an electro-sounding bass and adding an addictive lead melody in the second half, making it a standout rework that complements the originals energy. Next is Hectic, which delves into deeper sounds, anchored by a groovy bassline and an intriguing laser-like synth in the main drop. Kalimas remix offers a more atmospheric and progressive interpretation, blending tight drums, immersive pads, and percussive elements to create a unique and effective reimagining of the track. With Distressor Leo Bellaera makes a powerful debut, while T.N.C. and Kalima contribute remixes that elevate the EP to new heights. This release is a testament to Trafuls commitment to supporting creative and emotive Progressive House music, continuing our journey into fresh sounds in 2024.
