4eva [Mixed] - Shygirl, Empress Of, Kingdom

Made an edit / bootleg / flip / whatever you wanna call it of one of my favorite Shygirl tunes, “Woe”.

I took samples from both the original tune and Bjork’s remix, played with bringing the pitch down to change the mood, added my own drums, bass and percussion. 

The name of the game here wasn’t to completely flip the song on its head. It was so perfect as it was, I just wanted to re-contextualize it into a bit of a deeper and bass heavy vibe. I did add a section at towards the end that is much more modified compared to the original.
