The first one sees the re-release on digital for the first time of his classic track Rumpus, a old school frantic banger that takes no prisoners. On remix duties we have D.A.V.E. The Drummer, who needs no introduction, with his signature hard acid techno take on it, followed by veteran procuder DJ Tuttle, with a deeper Detroit approach. To finish off, P.I.N.O. Lopez comes back after his release on number 11 with an all-out acid remix. Something for everyone here. Enjoy!

Game over

Really Great is one of those tracks I started a long long time ago... just fragments of the original idea now. A drum loop off my old mpc, a chopped vocal, a mood I couldn’t name. I sat on it like I do, just to forget about it, then pulled it out of the archive and mashed it back together with some fresh samples and a new trick or two.

It’s lo-fi house, techno-adjacent, whatever. Banging kick, tucked hats, and a vocal of sorts. Real loopy... maybe even meditative. Doesn’t rush anything. It takes its time getting where it’s going, but it gets there. Atmosphere more than anthem. A little cracked, a little submerged, but it is what it is.

Call it "lo-fi sample house" if you need to label it. I just call it Really Great.
