01 - EGO

Well, looks like introductions are in order here....I love anime, manga, and pretty much anything associated with Japan, but I will not call myself and Otaku or a Weebo. I don't remember much from my childhood, except for an anime called GAIKING!!!! I was about 5 at the time and it reeled me into the wonderful world of Japanese animation. I'm 27 now. I'm currently attending college for a degree in English Literature with a minor in Education (Yes I plan on leaving the U.S. one day to teach; if you don't know where, it's west of California :P). My favorite anime of all time has to be Inuyasha (storywise, although they butchered the Final Act by rushing it) or Blood+ (great storyline, although it too was rushed). I love any anime with a great storyline and underlying themes. I am a sucker for romance anime and manga (no it doesn't have to be uber lovey-dovey like the new Snow White anime). My largest playlist if you can't already guess is Anime OST with female vocals (I don't know why I'm drawn to Japanese women's voices lol). I might have a repeat or two, but not many and I don't know if anyone would listen to the whole thing, but it has taken me a year to create it (I listen to every song before adding it) and I hope you will come to enjoy it too. I do have Asperger's (zero social skills and awkward) and severe anxiety if that helps create a picture of who I am and why my outlet has and always will be the Japanese culture. It has and will always fascinate me as they have never lost track of who they are, unlike most of the western world (Especially the U.S.......).
