This entire song stemmed from me coming up with the title, thinking it would be the funniest title for an R&B song ever, so I just said fuck it, and I did it. Also more lulz, this was recorded on an 8 string with a Protone Deadhorse Overdrive and Lace Deathbuckers.

Untitled Demo (TesseracT)

Seeing how today is my first official release with TesseracT, I figured I share one of the two auditions that got me in the band in the first place. I received "Deception" literally the night before I went to track it. Some of the timing might be off, but thats because I basically had to learn it while tracking it, as I was not familiar with the tune. Also, I didn't know whether or not to track the backing harmonies, so I left Dan's in there. I also do not use NEARLY as much vibrato when preforming this now hahaha. Anyways, don't take it too seriously as it was just an audition ^__^

This is the sound of a really sad Andy Thomas. It is also the first time I sang in front of anyone, so if it sounds nervous, it is. Acoustic guitar and mandolin. I might do it again with some confidence and now that my life isn't in total shambles. 

Beauty+in+This

This is a happy song about the experience of death with the knowledge that we are not simply disappearing, but changing manifestations; so there is no reason to be afraid. When I was young, I would make these multi-layered guitar pieces, and I wanted to try that again.  Structurally, I wanted the piece to reflect what I'm singing about. It is really one idea, developed and then stripped away again.
