Moritz Graßinger and Martin Schneider, known collectively as KIDSØ, are renowned for the live aspect of their artistic blueprint, centering around synthesisers, drums, kalimbas and percussive instrumentality. With releases on esc/ctrl, Embassy Of Music, Springstoff, and several other well-respected imprints, the Munich-based duo now bring their undeniably unique sonic palate to The Gardens of Babylon. Joining KIDSØ across three awe-inspiring Deep House cuts on their collaborative 'What If I' EP is Swiss producer & singer-songwriter Natascha Polké, whose work is championed by the likes of Anjunadeep, This Never Happened, and Definition:Music, amongst others.

The first single to drop on the 13th January will be 'What if I'. A track that plunges you deep into a pool of emotive melodic components that orbit the first appearance of Natascha's sirenic vocals. Deftly driving drum grooves and a crisp percussive cadence steer the track forwards amidst a sea of modulating frequencies and sweeping introspective notes, resulting in a captivating opener. A truly special release to kick start the new year off for the artists and label.

Its soon followed by 'Seven Nations' released as a single on the 27th January. A head-turning sense of nostalgia with the uniquely re-sung rendition of The White Stripes' iconic hit. More delightfully deepened flavours are on offer here, with a pleasantly melancholic vibe born from endless layers of intricately woven chords and stabs. A truly standout record, it brings an extraordinary close to this complete masterclass from three of Europe's most talented electronic artists.

Finally, on February 10 we are closing out the whole EP with the track 'Bloom In The Cold', delivering harmony-rich electronic prowess from the outset. An enchanting vocal topliner adds a tangible personality to the track whilst its analogue-focused musicality runs masterful contrast of soft and gritty, carving out a touching ebb and flow from start to finish.

And they created totally different dimension from using couple of main parts from the original. U will enjoy both remixes.

Just over a year ago I awoke in the middle of the night to hear a most beautiful and haunting voice singing away in my living room. When I spoke about it with my housemate in the kitchen the morning after, an unknown man emerged from the bedroom next door and apologized for waking us. I told him that it was in fact really quite wonderful and that I would love to work on some music with him if he had some time. I asked him what he was doing that very instant and if he'd like to come downstairs and see what we could come up with in a couple of hours. This is the song that appeared from the ether.

Shirtless and shoeless, TÂCHES sits cross-legged in the dirt gently taking in his mountain surroundings. It’s clear that he’s deep in thought as he mindfully traces the shape of a fallen leaf in his hand and a slight smile gently spreads across his face. There’s a tangible feeling of love and fascination communicated through the way he looks at the world around him and it’s precisely this holistic approach to creativity that makes him such a captivating artist. This is the makeup of a being that finds passion and inspiration anywhere he looks. 

Contradictorily, he is as much a devotee to tradition as he is a breaker of rules. TÂCHES is uninterested in following trends, and instead seeks to provoke the senses through a deeply personal examination of culture and cliche. Conceptual without ever being pretentious, his music shows a deep rooted appreciation for the textures of the times passed and faraway places. There’s a certain urgency to capture the world as he perceives it; albeit a world seen through the rose tinted lenses of a creature forever romantically entangled with his surroundings.

There’s no one way to sum up TÂCHES’s music, as it’s perpetually in growth, bending and swaying like a tree in the wind. This sonic metamorphosis is due to a primal need to experiment coupled with a deep longing to express the continually transforming experience of being human. Drawing heavily from emotion and memory, there’s a clear sense of nostalgia in all that he creates. His pure and unabashed desire to combine the things that he loves manifests itself as rich and evocative music with massive personality and palpable global flavours. 

TÂCHES’s desire to build upon the world in which his music exists led to the creation of his label GLITTER COWBOY - the peculiar home for the sonic documentation of his journey. When you listen to GLITTER COWBOY, you are nakedly experiencing life through the eyes of TÂCHES as he seeks to embody self-awareness and optimism, along with finding inner peace through nature, artistic expression and simplicity of living.
