Royston is an electronic orgasm of noise created by musician and producer Reece Mclaughlin. Using field recordings of urban environments, samples and vocals, Royston abducts the listener and subjects them to a series of hypersonic experiences in the weird and warped R-Cosmos. Influenced by the sonic textures of the urban noise that surrounds him, Royston’s music is an evolving rhizome populated with ambient drips of mellifluous rain and the frenzied shrill of dissonance.

Ambient music is just a way to conceive life. It teaches us to catch the beauty of the smallest microcosm and  compare it with that of the biggest events of life. It teach us to live the particulars that surround us and  doing  every (big or small) vibration the soundtrack of our life. 

Capturing midges into tiny wooden boxes.
Then connecting the boxes to copper cylinders.
Adding complex filters made of paper and cellophane.
Producing sounds with that... the sweet melody of hungry midges.
