After the passing of my best friend Francheska "Cloud Princess" Delacruz, life got a bit dark & didn't make sense to me, questions i would ask myself i couldn't answer. Even though i'm still trying to make sense of things, i know she's in a better place. One of my biggest supporters, now one of my biggest inspirations, "wonder?" & my project "forest." is dedicated to her The Cloud Princess. Here's Chapter I: moon after Yule, welcome the the forest.

To help you understand the "trade" mentioned in the lyrics, it refers to a historical exchange in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. New Zealand officials wanted to establish a salmon fishery and looked to the Sacramento and Columbia Rivers in the USA for Chinook (King) Salmon eggs.
​In exchange for these salmon, New Zealand sent Longfin Eels (native to NZ) back to the United States. While the Chinook salmon successfully naturalized in the cold, fast-flowing rivers of the South Island (like the Waitaki and Rakaia), the eels were part of an effort to see if NZ species could survive in American waters.

A personal song about a very difficult time in my life where my trauma and challenges caused a person i thought was close to me to say "he could not be the one that could be there for me".  He could not support me in my pain... lost love & friendship.

TaeJaun, a captivating singer and songwriter hailing from Voorhees, NJ, embarks on an extraordinary musical journey driven by an unwavering commitment to his craft.
