thanks for 300 followers everyone! yall are the best! sometimes i doubt my ability to make cool and groovy music, usually because i compare myself to other people on the platform that i respect, but knowing that theres at least 300 of you out there whove listened to my stuff and decided to follow me gives me the motivation to at least keep improving. :>.

i know some of the motifs have changed since i made my original cover of this song, but since this is a remake *of that* cover, i feel like itd be weird to change them now (plus i only realized that after i finished the song oops). like androphono strike back isnt even the msb counterpart to stdd what.

UNDERTALE ~ A Story of HUMANS and MONSTERS

Sorry I didn't have anything big today, undertale is getting more and more difficult to do.

6 years, huh? man, what a ride.

UNDERTALE may be one of my favourite games of all time; it's beautifully written characters still impact me, and have helped to shape the person I am even to this very day, and it's created a path I never thought I'd walk down: Music.

Music, what a weird one for me - to think I'd aspire to become a huge musician all because of some dumb little video game soundtrack, and you all know exactly which song specifically. It all started with wanting to make my own custom megalo; somewhere around 2016 I think? and my journey began, a long one at that.

Now we're in 2021, things have changed DRAMATICALLY - I became a prominent figure in the Undertale Soundcloud Community, a place I used to call home, a place I met many of my best online friends, some I consider family. In my mind, I had reached the top, people considered my music to be...good? I've never truly wrapped my head around it. 
I've befriended everyone I ever looked up to in the community - Saster, Brandon, Paul, you name it, and I realised one critical thing that I think is lost in such a large community.

We're all just people, people making shit that we love that others love too, we aren't gods - or machines, yet people treat us like content factories and not for who we are. This is not exclusive to the UTSC either.

yeah yeah blah blah blah the utsc is dying and it hurts me on an extremely deep level, and the fnf music scene is very similar to the undertale one in a way, but this isn't about that.

Thank you Toby Fox, you've created a game that will go down in legend as one of the greatest of all time, something I'm glad I was born in this era to experience. 

And thank you, yes, you; the person who listens to the garbage I make - you've helped me along the way and I hope what I bring to you in the future will make you proud of me.

An Open Letter to UNDERTALE [Happy 6th Anniversary!]

HOPES AND DREAMS

Where's all the time gone? Six years ago, I was a young lad who could hardly have dreamt of making music for thousands of people. Yet, here we are today. This simple game has had a profound impact on my life, and I'm sure many of you can say the same. Its given me and many other talented individuals a way in which we can bring joy to people across the globe--from our very own homes. It's quite incredible, thinking about it.

This community has had its moments, good and bad; Many have come, and many have gone (or at least tried to go), but once a year, we can take a moment to set aside our differences, and remember what brought us all together in the first place. Happy anniversary, folks!

Oh, by the way, I apologize for the inactivity lately; I started college around a month ago, and have had very little time to make music. That said, I have some exciting stuff planned, which will (hopefully) come to you soon-ish!

If anybody knows the artist behind this wonderful thumbnail, please tell me so I can credit them.
