We love working with local fellow music makers and this one has been long in the works but finally we are pleased to be dropping Serendipity by one of the Doodle members, Tim Shaw aka Amuse Bouche. 5 tracks of varying sounds with a common dance floor aimed trend, from straight up disco tackle to left of field broken beats business. This is a pretty awesome offering that is steeped in Mancunian night life vibes for those that prefer a non-Instagram focused night out.

Starting off comes a top shelf cover version of one of the catchiest cross over tracks ever! Acapella sees Lady Lady feature on vocal duties of ‘that’ ear worm which she does a stunning sonic workout for some big sing-a-long scenes for the dance floor. Big unashamedly party business!

Serendipity goes all jacking & wonky with some 80’s style breakdance beats alongside synth lines & rumbling bass notes which builds around a stuttered vocal sample before dropping to deliver the goods. Mutant-Cosmic-Breakdance is the order of the day here.

Night Drive slows things all the way down and takes off across the neon lit highway in a white Lamborghini to the cosmic outer reaches. Dreamy & ethereal in equal measure with a touch of The Cure if they were fully electronic. One for the sundown sets when you need to create utter bliss.

Pastiche throws a net over all things left of centre to create a straight up peak time slammer. Scattered drums & percussion with a jungle loop undertone, stuttered vocal sample (which may be familiar) ad bags of energy to create a real roof raiser.

Take It Easy finishes of the E.P. and is a large helping of Italo inspired Nu-Disco style shenanigans with probably the most hookiest vocal we’ve ever been involved with. All slightly wobbly but in all the right places and ready to be dropped for some peak time smoke filled situations.

Time Machine Dropouts are a DJ/Live remix collaboration between Chad Jackson and Matt Gunn. A partnership that began over their love of 80s electronic artist Fad Gadget, Sci-Fi and Psychedelia. Their sets are full of live homegrown tripped-out remixes fused with real instrumentation, electronic wizardry, off-planet noises and percussion.

Chad Jackson has been a DJ, musician and music producer since the mid-1980s having bagged the crown of Technics/DMC World DJ Mixing Champion in 1987 and been a previous resident DJ at the now legendary Hacienda club in Manchester, to a worldwide smash hit in 1990 with ‘Hear The Drummer Get Wicked’. He was one of the first British DJs to start mixing and exploring turntablism and by the mid-80s this led him to clubs like Manchester’s iconic Legend and Wigan Pier, which he took over from his great friend and early mentor Greg Wilson. Chad has been a champion of contemporary music with his journey through many different genres throughout the years, always pushing the boundaries forward – from his beginnings in Northern Soul, Disco, Jazz-Funk and early Electronic Music through to Acid House, Hip Hop and various Cosmic genres all picked from one of the largest private music collections in the world.

Matt Gunn spent several years promoting live bands / DJing @ legendary Sussex club night ‘Club Crush’. He then set up the quirky but successful ToffeeTones label. From this he went into playing live with his 'stream of thought'-anarcho-electro ‘Toffeetronic’ alias calling in many talented musicians over the years to help create the live chaos - Mark Cooper [Bedford Falls Players] on drums with Ann Shenton [Add N to X] playing guest synth, Tim Dorney [Flowered Up/Republica] as guest dub sound man, Kiki Moorse [Chicks on Speed] as guest vocalist + an ever changing roster of fine musicians & friends.
Currently he’s nicely settled into his solo work perfecting the balance of psychedelic/electronic/danceable musi. He releases through his label Electric Wardrobe Records, Leeds based label Paisley Dark and later this year on Slough’s finest label - TiciTaci.

 For over two decades, Taffi Louis has treated DJing not as a career path but as a lifelong experiment in how music can reshape a room. His first gig—at a Vancouver gay bar- unexpectedly kicked off a six-year weekly residency with complete freedom to roam. Nights would start off with house, Italo and new wave; morphing into a late-night fetish vibe with heavier nu-disco, techno, and electroclash pushing the envelope while mapping out links to what came before.  An audience nostalgic for Giorgio Moroder and synthpop could be just as ravenous for Vitalic or Gesaffelstein when you connect the dots.

That subversive instinct soon spilled into his own events in the mid-2000s. What began as niche queer events evolved into creating inclusive spaces and shifting focus from the presumed audience over to the music defying easy categorization; era-hopping, retro-futuristic, catchy yet strange, the music at Truckerdisco and Roboteria nights created their own niches, despite conventional wisdom that says to identify your audience first,
