In this set Hyper Octane shows us his more techno rave side, playing high paced energetic music. In the zoom chat during this stream the set was hailed as being one of the best and dancable of the series of streams of Club in the Cloud X VICE.

'Everything energetic' is how Hyper Octane's sound can be described best. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of genres spread across techno, acid, rave, EBM, early hardstyle and euro tech/trance. The symbiosis is the constant flow of energy, which is in line with his personality and attitude behind the decks. Guaranteed to set the crowd on fire, whilst building on the vibe that was already being set.

Dormancy is a mesh machine-like tweaks and dramatic themes that may have been inert until Eddie Hale’s songcraft forces it to stagger and sway with the synthetic rhythm. The title track begins with breathy synths and builds up its momentum with the bouncing beat. Impulses is a dramatic dance floor track, fencing chords tangle with the rhythm that pulses constantly. Bustling and elastic sound of Variant 1 evokes the body to move along its excitable groove. The tensile theme of JU-6 never looses its cools with the stagger drums. Jon Hester's remix of Dormancy keeps the overall theme but adding an old school approach as the track builds up with creamy synths juxtaposed with the clangy percussion.
