Raver at heart and a groove explorer by passion, Gustavo Hernandez, born and based in Chihuahua, Mexico, is a self-taught DJ and producer who has been performing at underground raves and local clubs since 2008.

The concept behind "Subthink" aims to evoke the mystical and introspective rituals that have existed since ancient times, where tribal humans paid tribute to existence. One of our most primitive practices.

In the beginning, his musical influences were primarily rooted in psychedelic trance, exploring sub-genres such as Twilight, Forest, Hi-tech, and Trance. Over time, he gradually evolved into Progressive trance, Progressive techno, and Minimal techno.

As he matured musically and refined his taste in electronic dance music, he discovered the Minimal/micro house and Deep tech scene, which is predominantly developed in Eastern Europe, and fell in love with it.

Influenced by this whole new culture, he evolved into a new musical storytelling framework, blending different genres he has been exploring over time.

His Tech House debut — Discoteca EP on Jamie Jones’ iconic Hottrax label — makes a bold entrance, signaling a rising talent with serious momentum. From an early age, SUNODUS was drawn to the rhythmic complexity of House and Techno. This passion evolved into a genre-fluid style that effortlessly blends deep tech, minimal, and progressive elements, giving his sets a distinctive underground energy while staying modern and dynamic. Driven by storytelling, his DJ sets are hypnotic journeys — weaving through peaks, drops, and unexpected turns that keep the dancefloor engaged well into the early hours. His productions pair punchy low-end grooves with emotive synthwork, creating tracks that resonate from intimate clubs to massive festival stages.
