The Ambient Experience
Listening deeply to ambient music can feel like drifting through space, or perhaps disappearing alongside a vanishing water droplet, or even expanding outward like an infinite ripple. These wondrous experiences serve to alleviate tension and heal the inner self.

The music often incorporates natural sounds—such as the whisper of wind or the rush of waves—to express a specific atmosphere or 'ambience.' Rather than drawing attention to itself, ambient music relies solely on atmosphere to provide a sense of unobtrusive tranquility, as if it is 'present but not present.'
