i wrote this song to finally acknowledge how i felt in a past relationship and to be honest, to figure out who i am at the same time. it’s about that overwhelming, heavy, complicated feeling that sits on your back for too long, the kind that doesn’t always have a name. but somehow, writing it made me feel like i’m getting better. like the weight’s slowly shifting. just late night thoughts that needed somewhere to go.
