This is an original composition of mine featuring solo Cello and English Horn. [very similar sounding to an oboe but with a lower range] A very soft felty piano and background viola sections.

It is called “Unforsaken”. The official definition of “Forsaken” is to be completely deserted or helpless, abandoned. So the title of this piece is the opposite of that. So this is the story of been forsaken, and then clawing your way back with forgiveness and compassion to become unforsaken.

Originally composed for a small chamber ensemble as music to a  short animation about a young boy who flies in his dreams. This version was re-arranged for a string trio with additions, resulting from feedback at the Young Composers' Workshop, part of the Cambridge Summer Music Festival.

Élekþróníkk (yeh-lek-throw-neek) is an avant-garde electronic duo comprised of Iceland based Inðigó Oktaavíus þorrpateskur and Moscow native Aallamir kläest, for 16 years the duo has been pushing boundaries and has been working to create a new and unique sound profile through utilizing ambient and techno sound and transforming it into a digitally enlightened material that can only be explained through divine intervention, in 2010 Aallamir Kläest passed away from heart complications and left Inðigó to manage and complete the legacy that is Élekþróníkk.

Del Carry is a composer and musician who plays contemporary classical, film music, jazz and some rock and blues. He plays piano, Bb trumpet, C flute, EWI wind controller, guitar [electric and acoustics and a wide range of virtual sampled instruments as well as having played in a few jazz-rock "Chicago" type live bands]. The pieces offered on SoundCloud are a very small sample of over 450 compositions.

If you are so inclined, I would also encourage any constructive criticism of my music. If my music does not fit in your musical taste and experience, it’s probably not wise to comment, but if it does, and you notice obvious things that I have overlooked or I could do better, I am open. It does not take long to lose one’s objectivity when hearing the piece possibly hundreds or times. 

But please be kind. I may not always agree, but will appreciate your effort, care and feedback.

All my original music, written and composed with Ableton Live and a variety of VSTs, my favorites being anything Arturia! No AI was used to make this music, AI was used to make SoundCloud album covers. On all other streaming platforms, album artwork is all my photography and paid for video shorts for Spotify songs.

I have had a barrage of music lately. I write constantly, almost every night. I open up Ableton (and before FL Studio) and it's a blank canvas and I realize it's my daily journal. I filter everything in my words, but in my music i can roam free. I have almost 200 works from just Ableton (another 250 in FL Studio) with many incomplete that as I have improved, decided to continue my work on these and get to completion. 

Because of this I have 15 songs that are almost ready to go and released onto a new album. I am excited. This music makes me feel alive. It's mine. It's different. It's not for everyone. It's for someone.
