Naaz is a Syrian-Dutch DJ pased in Amsterdam ,known for hypnotic grooves, deep techno foundations, and precise minimal details. His sound blends influences from Sansibar, Sandrien, DJ Nobu, and Westcode with the fluid, boundary, breaking energy of the queer underground.

As a founder of Ugarythm Collective in Amsterdam, Naaz creates immersive sets that celebrate community, underground rave culture, and emotional, trance like journeys on the dancefloor.

Ugarythm is a collective of Syrian DJs united by a shared passion for electronic music and deep cultural roots. Drawing inspiration from the ancient rhythms of Ugarit—the birthplace of the world’s oldest written melody—we blend modern electronic soundscapes with the echoes of our heritage. From hypnotic techno to experimental beats, our sets are a bridge between past and future, tradition and innovation. Based in diaspora but connected through sound, Ugarythm exists to amplify Syrian creativity on the global dance floor.

🎧Dj proveniente del sur de Mexico: Chiapas. Sus inicios fueron en San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Cancún y  Tulum. Tomando como bases los géneros de AfroHouse y AfroTechno. 🪇

Encontró su talento e inspiración en Artistas como: Hernán Cattaneo, Hannes Bieger, Solomun, Polo & Pan, Satoshi Tomiie, Siavash, entre otros artistas locales e Internacionales. Caracterizando así sus DjSets únicos con toques de Locura y Originalidad en mezclas armónicas con tonos Progressive, Minimal y Sonidos profundos. 💥En el 2017 por casi 2 años y medio estuvo viviendo la escena Musical Electrónica Underground en Vancouver, Canadá.
