Original score composed for Isolated Land, an independent short film exploring the internal conflict of a boy born in a small village in China who aspires to become a filmmaker. His dream clashes with his parents’ expectations for him to remain in their rural hometown and take over the family’s ceramics business.

Visually rooted in a rustic, documentary-like aesthetic, the film contrasts traditional settings with inventive storytelling. The music adopts a non-traditional approach, incorporating noise elements and experimental production to mirror the protagonist’s emotional disorientation and the film’s distinct tone.
