SNV Special Report: Stop The Attacks On Our VA Workers

Kalil a 16 ans, il est un mineur non-accompagné (dit MNA), c'est à dire un adolescent venu sur le territoire français sans responsable légal. Étant mineur, Kalil a demandé à être mis à l'abri par la protection de l'enfance. Lorsqu'on est un mineur étranger sur le sol français, il faut passer un entretien d'évaluation de minorité auprès du département du Nord afin d'être reconnu mineur. Lors de cet entretien, la minorité de Kalil n'a pas été reconnue. Il a alors démarré un recours auprès du juge des enfants, depuis 8 mois, il attend le résultat de son recours. 8 mois pendant lesquels Kalil a survécu dans des conditions très précaires : il a été obligé de dormir plusieurs mois dans une tente dans un parc à Lille, sans accès à des douches, à des toilettes ou à l'électricité et sans pouvoir aller au lycée.

A Lille, plus d'une centaine d'adolescent·es sont dans la même situation. 80% d'entre eux seront reconnus mineurs en deuxième instance sur décision du juge des enfants.

Pour obtenir un hébergement, la scolarisation et des conditions de vie dignes, ces jeunes ont décidé de se réunir et de créer un collectif pour alerter les instituions du Nord sur leur situation.

Aidés par l'association Utopia 56 Lille, qui vient en aide aux mineurs non-accompagnés à la rue, cela fait des mois que ces jeunes luttent pour se faire entendre.Partout en France : Rouen, Rennes, Marseille, Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, la situation est la même.
