Hope fades, the sands erase,

In echoes deep, the past will rise,
قلبٌ يُضيء (qalbun yuḍīʾ)—"A heart that lights the skies."
The rose of stone, it calls to me,
يا نجم بعيد (yā najm baʿīd)—"Oh, distant star, I see."

يا شِقّ الورْد، خذني بعيد (ya shiq al-ward, khudhni baʿīd).
("Oh rose of the rift, take me far away.")
Through dreams untold, through walls of stone,
إلى الوجود (ilā al-wujūd)—"To existence alone."
Every step, a scar unseen,
نورٌ دفين (nūrun dafīn)—"A buried light serene."

Stone hearts speak, unyielding, strong,
صوتُ الغياب (ṣawtu al-ghiyāb)—"The voice of the gone."
Mirage of fire, my soul does call,
خيطُ السراب (khiṭu al-sarāb)—"The thread of the mirage falls."

Sing ya qanun, the truth will flow,
[دمعُ السماء (damʿu al-samāʾ)—"The tears of the sky below."]
The rift unfolds, the rose is fire,
حلمٌ عميق (ḥulm ʿamīq)—"A dream that takes me higher."

[The language twists; meaning fades.]
[ضوءٌ قديم (ḍawʾun qadīm)—"An ancient light sublime."]
[What’s real or lost, I can’t divide,]
[سرٌ مقيم (sirrun muqīm)—"A secret that will abide."]

«خروش سایه‌ها» اثری برای سه‌تار، عود، کمانچه و سازهای کوبه‌ای است که در سال ۱۳۹۷ ساخته و ضبط شد. این قطعه با تکیه بر بسترهای مُدال موسیقی ایرانی و بهره‌گیری از ساختارهای ریتمیک تالا در موسیقی هند و تکنیک‌های تی‌ها شکل گرفته و فرم قطعه به صورت 'ABA′B طراحی شده است.

"Uproaring of Shadows" is a composition for Setar, Oud, Kamancheh, and Percussions, composed and recorded in 2018. The piece is built upon modal frameworks of Persian music, while also integrating rhythmic structures of Tāla from Indian classical music and extensive use of Tihai and its form follows an ABA′B'.
