I wrote this poem a few years ago, when discussion of the 1994 Rwandan genocide was illegal in Rwanda itself. They called it “the thing”. The poem describes the first 24 hours of the genocide. The Hutu militia, known as the Interahamwe, murdered about a million Tutsis and moderate Hutus during the four-month genocide.  Many thanks to Phutur K for the remix.

Harmony in molars lied
Despite rolling motors on the home
Remaining obviance on the roam
Howard road skates like ice
Ours was a simian vice
Like lo-tecs living off rice
Sole bared this tiled piece
The soil buried the deceased
Poor animal
Awakens outside
This is his tomb and his grave, his rising tide
The populace ride

There once was a widdle
who goes there for our war
Only my serpent eye
which rolled when hit the floor

из человека в пушинку,

Сквозь здоровое напряжение  
и безлимитность —

Волком,  
орлом,
