Ethan Blake is a rising star in the world of pop music, known for his catchy hooks and smooth vocals. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ethan was drawn to music from an early age, inspired by the vibrant sounds of his multicultural surroundings. His childhood was filled with a blend of Latin rhythms, Caribbean beats, and mainstream pop, all of which influenced his unique sound.

I’m endlessly drawn to the process of creating music—it’s where inspiration collides with obsession. Most songs begin as a whisper: a single lyric, a fleeting title, a sudden flash of clarity that refuses to let go. From there, I reach for the guitar, keyboard, or bass, letting the chords spill out, watching progressions unfold until the idea starts to breathe with its own pulse.

When the spark takes hold, the song slips into a state of fluidity—shaping and reshaping itself like water finding its course. I lay down the bones first: guitar, vocals, drums. Then I weave in the colors and textures that expand its world—bass lines that carry its weight, synths that stretch the horizon, ambient tones that drift like shadows at the edges. Every layer serves the emotion at its core, guiding the song toward the truth it wants to speak.

Mixing and mastering is where the vision crystallizes, when every sound settles into its place and the music finally comes alive. That moment—the instant it resonates with the feeling I’ve been chasing—is why I return to the process again and again. I’m always seeking the next rhythm, the next melody, the next unexpected turn. For me, the destination is never the point. The real magic is in the journey—discovering where the music wants to go.

Mkull has released his self-titled debut demo  through Act Of War Records. Mkull is a local Charlottetown rapper who began rapping when he was 15 years old. He says that he was inspired by seeing the McDonald's drive-through rap on YouTube and decided to write his own rap inspired by Tim Horton's. He says that he performed the rap for a number of people in Charlottetown including Danny Murphy, an owner of Tim Horton's franchises.
Mkull was offered recording time in Montreal but had to turn it down to focus on his schooling. During his high school years Mkull released CDs of himself rapping to friends. And he came up with his stage name. "It was how my younger sister pronounced my name as a baby", says Mkull.
Already making himself known in the PEI rap community, Mkull has done battle rapping against local Charlottetown rapper Cavy a few years ago, and has appeared on a track with east coast rapper MDB. "Yeah it was a huge thrill to record a song with MDB," Mkull recalls.
Mkull describes his music as having a clean style with hard hitting and emotional content and lyrics. He is currently working on a music video for the debut track, "Cope" off his new demo. The demo was released in mid-May through Act Of War Records.
Now going by under that name Mikey MKULL he's currently off Act Of War Records because his former manager went to become a lawyer which got what is current with Mikey's firm belief that he is going to get signed by Universal Music Entertainment Group and works with a collaborations and take his music to the next level! When Mikey MKULL goes to NY to make it a career, become Universal Music Entertainment Recordings CEO Michael Egan Trainor joining with Jody and the team!
