The Australian Italian DJ & Music producer Michele Conte from the Blue Mountains near Sydney has finally locked in his first release on his own label UBFR for 2025. 

The Trip is a 140BPM Dub Techno track that you won’t find in the typical raw techno genre section: this one is peak time & driving. Having said this it is by no means a formulaic techno track – as the name suggests, this one takes the listener on a trip. 

“I am going for something a bit different always. I like some repetition but for me their has to be a journey with unexpected twists & turns”

This self proclaimed adventure based techno certainly does travel some very unique sonic terrain with surprises all the way through. 

There is something about the sound of these Dub Techno series tracks Michele does that makes them difficult to liken to any other artist’s work. 

The Trip will be placed in the Peak Time Techno genre but it's definitely something more akin to the Dub Techno you would find in the Raw Hypnotic Techno section. 

Unlike a lot of Peak Time Techno this progresses & takes the listener (hopefully) on more of a trip! 
Inspired by a love of 140BPM Dub Techno & the Raw Techno space but wanting to still have that driving Peak Time feel. There is indeed a series of these types of tracks. They'd typically be in other techno genre sections but they these are found in the peak time section setting them apart form the regular in some ways. 

Expect huge analogue synths, thoughtful rhythms & shifts that take you on a journey.
