Shakeel Badayuni (1916-1970) wrote the ghazal "Mere Humnafas Mere Humnawa". Badayuni was a celebrated Urdu poet and lyricist for Indian film songs for three decades. He studied at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and wrote love and romance poetry.
