Alan Wilson Watts (6 January 1915 – 16 November 1973) was a British and American writer, speaker, and self-styled "philosophical entertainer", known for interpreting and popularising Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu philosophy for a Western audience. This is a brutally honest rap-rock anthem that fires back at modern entitlement culture and performative outrage. Blending venomous rap verses, a defiant sung chorus, and explosive screams, the song calls out those who demand everything yet offer nothing. Em Anáfora, eu falo da solidão que me molda, do sufoco que me afoga, da esperança que me move. Eu corro de novo, e de novo, e de novo. Não pra vencer ninguém, mas pra não desistir de mim mesmo. Cada rima minha é um passo nesse caminho sem aplausos, mas cheio de sentido pra quem entende que viver é correr sem parar, mesmo quando o medo congela as pernas.

Eu escrevi essa música como um pedido. Um pedido pra que as pessoas sejam mais sensatas, pra que olhem umas pras outras com mais compaixão. No final, eu entendi que cada um sente sua dor sozinho, mas é na soma dos nossos silêncios que nasce a voz que muda o mundo. Essa é minha verdade. Essa é Anáfora.

⏳ Life is fleeting, and every soul has an appointed time. 'The Last Day' is a reminder of our final journey—when loved ones pray over us, when we return to the One who created us. 

🤲 This nasheed is a heartfelt duʿa for Husn al-Khatima (a beautiful ending), a plea for Allah’s mercy 🌧️ on the Day when nothing will avail except His Mercy. 

May it inspire reflection, repentance, and hope in Allah’s boundless mercy. 🌿

A poet who moonlights as a sax playing, piano thumper.  One who mainly writes poetry, but on occasion will put his words to music and record them on an old mac g4.  He sure hopes you enjoy what you hear, and get some hope about your life--even if your life is crazy, like his!

Dactyline is the sound of intuition in motion—fingertips on strings, echoes in stone, rhythm from the roots. Blending acoustic textures, ambient layers, and poetic storytelling, Dactyline moves between worlds: ancient and future, raw and refined. Each track is a trace—a line drawn in sound.

Hand Clap, is the moniker of Maya Borjesson, an Architect and visual/sound Artist. Using synthesizers, spoken word, and field recordings, their compositions explore themes of connection, memory, nostalgia and grief.
This year Hand Clap embarked on a tour of Japan, supported Penelope Trappes and presented ‘A Thread Beneath Our Skin’ at No Vacancy Gallery. This body of visual and sound work, traced the layered and intimate terrain of connection - between individuals, identities, and past and present selves - it was a practice of listening outward, as well as, to the quiet within. 
Hand Clap’s practice is deeply personal and sits at the crossroads of ambient music, electronic experimentation, string composition, and visual art.

“Poetry that holds space for healing”
My words live in the spaces we are often taught to hide. Grief and survival. Mental health and recovery. Loneliness and longing. Resilience and rebirth. The quiet hope that healing is always possible. 
I use my voice to help others reclaim theirs. Through poetry, performance, and healing spaces, I create opportunities for people to feel seen, heard, and deeply human.

Mikhayla Robinson Smith is a poet, author, spoken word artist, and essayist,  who has planted deep roots in Athens, Georgia. She is orignially from Augusta, GA. She studied English at the University of Georgia, which allowed her to explore and deepen her understanding of poetics. Her love for poetry and community has driven her desire to make poetic literature more accessible to the people of Athens. She hopes to share the freedom that she finds within words with others, and to prepare a table for those who may not have looked for liberation through them. She is an educator, and a restorative justice practitioner. As the first Black, woman, poet laureate of Athens, she stands on the shoulders, and in a deep rooted tradition, of Black women poets that come before her. She especially leans on Audre Lorde’s words: "Poetry is not a luxury." She believes in the power of words, out of necessity, and has felt the beauty of what poetry can do. Mikhayla is also a community activist and organizer.
