Get Use To It

Picture New York City in the late 70's and early 80's. The drug epidemic and Hip-Hop music were running on the same time line. As the drug epidemic got bigger, Hip-Hop music also got bigger. My song "Cherry on Top (Chef's Kiss) combines these two time lines into one song. It tells the story of Hip-Hop music from the epidemic perspective and vise versa. Both music and drugs have come to define the American story, good and bad.
