Founded by Alaskan-born, Helmond-raised troubadour Kroes den Bock and Dutch poet-producer Martijn Benders, Kroes den Bock Records is an independent label devoted to the honey-warm, story-driven sound that country fans call the “Golden Age” —the 1970s era shaped by song-smiths like Bobby Bare, Don Williams, Jerry Jeff Walker and John Prine 

Working from the Netherlands yet rooted in American tradition, the imprint pairs analogue-leaning production with literary lyrics, capturing performances in the spirit of a front-porch jam. Every release is designed to let the tales breathe: clear vocals up front, unfussy arrangements underneath, and a commitment to authenticity over polish
