Beauty Has a Name (WIP)

Hi, I'm :Metaphor: , aka Dave Jolley. I am an up and coming producer and DJ based out of Santa Cruz, CA. I've been making electronic music since 2001, dedicated to learning the ins and outs of twisting noise into pleasing sonic shapes. I have traveled quite a bit as a teacher for the Red Bull Music Labs, rocked the party in numerous cities, and am very proud to call the west coast underground my home. 
    
    I've got a penchant for freaky weird music, and am influenced by so many things in life. I love all musics, and all peoples, and my music is an attempt to express the rich complex nuances of life. My music is my attempt to give back, to love back, and to lead this world by the ears into immersive, liberated states that heal and nourish the listener. Through symbolic reflection and refraction of organized noises, we find truths about ourselves and the world. We learn, laugh, and love through the example of sonic metaphors.
    
    Currently, I have my first album about to drop on Addictech records, which has already gained props from Tipper, Si Begg, and Bassnectar to name a few. Next up will be some dubstep tracks, some downtempo, and more wobble squish funk.
