An early attempt. Lost the actual project halfway through due to a data crash.
However, I stumbled across this rough bounce the other day.
Still think it had enough potential that I’ve decided to upload it.
Real bass and guitar, mixed with all sorts of MIDI-instruments.

Why?
Music has been a major interest throughout most of my life, but sadly, I am neither a musician nor a singer in reality. 2017, in my late 50s, I completed a sound/music program at the “Studio Blue” school in Stockholm. Since then, I’ve had the humble ambition to create musical content that, at the very least, impresses myself— and hopefully, keeps improving over the years.

A bit about Skyla J 11 ( Rough Discography ) 
Skyla J 11 is a vocalist, musician songwriter and producer. She records every element of her music herself and also works on projects with husband Ozzie. Skyla and Ozzie have been recording and performing together since 1999 and had their live show debut at the world famous Montreal Jazz Festival in the summer of that year. They have performed at hundreds of events in the UK, US, Canada and Europe. Between 2008 and 2012 they collaborated on a project named Greenlaw, which released material on Formation Records, the legendary label owned by the equally legendary Leroy Small, aka DJ SS, one of the earliest pioneers of drum ‘n’ bass.
 
They released four singles on Formation; their third single “After I’m Gone” came with a remix by the prolific UK dubstep act Nero. They also toured with other drum n bass heavy hitters such as, Grooverider, LTJ Bukem, and Andy C.  After winning a Canadian government grant she wrote and recorded 4 songs with Juno award winning artist Joby Baker. Skyla also wrote and sang her lyrics on the Matthew 1626 produced deep house track “I Pray”, that stayed top 10 on Beatport for more than 4 weeks released by Munich label Deepalma in 2014.  
With a career that spans three decades and a musical talent that can meld effortlessly with a variety of genres, you can see that Skyla J 11 is just getting started.
