“Lessons” is about the woman who held me down through my mess and taught me how to grow. Every mistake turned into a lesson because of her.

LESSONS

A longing confession from someone who loves deeply but stands on the outside of another person’s heart. The narrator watches the one they want turn to someone else for comfort, strength, and trust. Every line carries quiet ache: wanting to be the person they call when life collapses, the one they depend on when they can’t breathe, the one their heart chooses.

The theme centers on unreturned love—soft, soulful, and honest. They accept that love flows where it wants, even if it leaves them behind, but the wish remains steady: they want to be the one. The song lives in that tender space between hope and heartbreak, voicing the pain of wanting a role they may never have.

Today is a very exciting day. I uploaded my first song on DistroKid. It is called ‘GIMME THAT LOVE’. The artist name who is singing the song name is  ‘Varda it’s under kELLEYJ label, and ‘KINGSTEADSTUDIOS’.. 

That song will be sent to all the streaming services and it will be live on June 5, 2024. I will upload a new song every Wednesday of every week, and every month of the year continuously. I will start making the release date  for every song at least 21 days out. Eventually, the timing will catch up with itself, and every Wednesday a new song will come out.

Variations on a Theme with Eleanor Talbot is a weekly 2 hour show that focuses on themes such as “Coming of Age”, “Mad Scientists”, “Cats & Dogs” and “The Call of the Sea” - there’s always a story for a song. 

Each show features an eclectic selection of music from many different genres; musically speaking, I have no boundaries and like to explore pieces from places outside my community and country as well as championing local talent. In-between music sets are stories, facts and guest interviews pertaining to the theme. I try to curate music that is not generally Top-40 preferring to look to alternative and independent artists and to the greats of the past as well as mining YouTube, Bandcamp or Soundcloud for the weird and wonderful. It's often a trip down the "rabbit hole" as you never know what I will play next.
