A long-time party participant and committed dancer with roots on the East coast, Mark Shephard is an avid fan of energetic dance floors and unrestrained rave music. A love for big synth riffs, rough drum machine grooves and a penchant for digging up gems from dance music’s rich history is on full display in his selections, with a style that ranges from techno and trance through all sorts of electro, breaks, and jungle. While living in Tokyo, he organized the multi-genre Acid Gakko party series with an emphasis on live hardware performance, bespoke visuals and underground talent. 

A note from Mark:
"1994: I think I started getting obsessed with techno and trance from this year in particular when I sent a friend also born in that year a few of my favorite 1994 tracks as a little birthday gesture. Since then I’ve been growing a little collection, and 2024 seemed like nice timing to put together an all 1994 mix. Happy 30 years to a year full of music that I love dearly."
