In deze meditatie oefenen we in het terugkeren naar de stilte in onszelf.  

In alle drukte, in alle onrust, in alle beweging, plannen, zorgen en spanningen van het leven, zijn we namelijk nog altijd in staat om toegang te krijgen tot de stilte. 

We oefenen dit door, vanuit de geconcentreerde aandacht voor de adem, de aandacht verder uit te breiden naar het gewaarzijn van het lichaam in een korte bodyscan, om zo steeds verder opmerkzaam te worden van het hele veld van levendigheid en energie dat door ons stroomt. 

Om daar, op de achtergrond van alles wat aanwezig is, de simpele beweging van de golven van de adem terug te vinden. En achter de adem: de altijd aanwezige stilte. 

We leren dat het niet uitmaakt hoe vaak de geest afdwaalt en hoeveel onrust er ook kan zijn, in ons en om ons heen. Het pad naar het huis van stilte in ons is altijd aanwezig. Er is geen probleem. We hoeven niets op te lossen. We keren gewoon weer terug naar de stilte van het gewaarzijn, met vriendelijkheid, met liefde.
