
So many thoughts and voices echoed in my mind
Of life and worth and all that I could be
How could I discover, grow and realize                           
The greatest joy and love that sets me free

I’d heard so many lies of what brings joy and meaning
That only sought to desecrate the beauty of all life               
I sought for greater joy I yearned to find true purpose
And on my knees my heart and soul would cry

What is my design 
And beautiful potential
I want to realize 
The joy that could be mine
 
What is my design?
What have I been made for? 
Can anyone define life’s meaning, joy and worth?   
I want to know
I want to know

I sought  and found a man achieving his potential   
He brings me joy and safety-I beautify his life
He helps me learn and grow, build confidence to see
The greatest joys that life can ever bring

We see our design
Fulfilling our potential
I’ve come to realize
The joy that can be mine
My man helps me align priorities and purpose   
His strength protects and builds our home and gives me room to grow
We both can grow

I see our baby’s heart, my own heart skips a beat
How could such a tiny being change and shape my world              
I wonder at this moment, at the gift of giving life                                                       
The precious name of mother now is mine
    
I hear our baby cry and hold her newborn frame
Feel her tiny hands and feet, and hear her gentle breath
I love my precious child, I know her life has purpose
I give my life, love, time, and heart to my little one

Generations live inside of me
Never ending life
Created to bring joy and beauty
Meaning without end  
Becoming better than I am
Weaving tapestries of joy
With every fiber of my being
I’ll help my children grow

Beautiful design             
Wonderful creation
My purpose is now clear
We live to bring forth life

The gift and role and lasting joys of motherhood are mine
